The Museum of African American History is a great activity to do in Boston for cheap. They hold free guided walking tours of the Black Heritage Trail and the museum itself, made up of the African Meeting House and the Abiel Smith School, is open six days a week and $10 or less (prices vary depending on age and education). I appreciate the perspective this museum gives that others tend to erase.
