Chester Beatty Library - Sir Alfred Chester Beatty, on his extensive travels around the world, collected rare books, manuscripts and artworks from Europe, the Middle East and Asia including some beautifully decorated Qurans. The Japanese collection also stands out with beautiful illustrations and calligraphy on display. Located within the grounds of Dublin Castle, it has a gorgeous garden you can sit and relax in and it's one of our favourite spots for a picnic! #art #gallery #history #free #dublin
