Kinburn sandbar is part of the Black Sea Biosphere Reserve. It used to be covered with deep, lush forest in the past, but today it became a place of empty beaches and wild nature. From one side, the Kinburn sandbar is washed by the salty sea water, while fresh waters of the Dnieper river washes the other side of it.
