Vasa sunk after 20 minutes on its maiden voyage in 1628. It was built top heady and too narrow so never had a chance. nearly 300 yrs later it was found and pulled out of the water. This museum looks at all aspects of the ship and is well worth a visit. It is the only almost fully intact 17th century ship that has been salvaged.
