We got our own little one bedroom apartment 15 mins walk to Macao beach with #freewifi for about $25/night - a steal with DR prices. Booked it through the lovely Andres at Macao Beach Hostel. Set in the heart of the town, across from the School, gets a bit loud but it’s quite authentico. Probably someone’s house when they don’t have guests.
