One of the best hikes in Bulgaria. It's about 4miles one way. You'll see the 7 lakes of Rila and awesome landscapes. I wouldn't recommend going all the way to the top as a beginner; it's quite steep. For mid to advanced hikers, it's fine. Take the chair lift up from the parking for 10BGN (~$6) one way. The best time of year to go is June-August.
