Located just 18 km outside of Bogota the Matarredonda Ecological Park is a section of the Cruz Verde paramo which is made up of 14 paramos in the area. The park has two predominate trails - Cascade de la Abuela and Laguna Verjon. Both of these trails are well marked and pathed. Depending on which path you choose you can reach the summit within 45 minutes and the summit is referred to as La Cuchilla. The hike predominately has views of Bogota in the distance as well as stunning paramo areas.   #mountains #hiking #views
