Angel's Rest is my favorite hike in the Columbia River Gorge. It is located off the Old Columbia River Highway just passed Corbett, Oregon. The hike is located on the Oregon side of the Gorge. The other side of the Gorge is in Washington State. On a clear day, you can see Portland, Oregon. It is west of Angel's Rest. Try not hike the Gorge on the weekends. Hoards of hikers are out and there is limited parking. If you must, go early, right before the sun rises. At that time, hardly anyone is hiking and you will capture the best photography. Same holds true for weekdays during the summer months.
