The Temple of Heaven is a huge complex of religious buildings, located in the southeast part of Beijing. Built in 1420, it was used to worship heaven by the Ming and Qing dynasties. This complex is actually larger than the Forbidden City so allow yourself plenty of time to stroll around the beautiful buildings and gardens.
