It's not really clear why there is a Beatles Park and a Beatles statue in the center of Ulan Bator... but here it is ! Located between the State Department Store and the Circus (two landmarks of the city), this pedestrian square is really enjoyable. In the middle, this apple-shaped statue of John, Paul, George and Ringo is contrasting with the surroundings. On the other side of the apple is another statue of an unknown (at least for me !) musician playing guitar. The Beatles square has actually several other beautiful statues (of animals and kids) and is located in the most lively district of the city, so don't miss it ! #statues #beatles #ulanbator #mongolia
