Monument Kazakh Eli
The monument "Kazakh Eli" which means "Kazakh People" is a central piece of Astana's "Millenium Line". It is next to the Hazret Sultan Mosque and in front of the Palace of Peace and Reconciliation, it's one of the main landmark of the capital city. Located on the Independance square, is has been built in 2009. There is a stele with a mythical bird on the top as well as a statue representing kazakh people wearing the country's traditional clothes. It is also supposed to represent freedom and prosperity. There is a large arch on the square and it leads to the National Museum of the Republic of Kazakhstan. #architecture #free #art #statue #astana #kazakhstan
