Taka Makassar Island is a tiny island in the Komodo National Park area. Locally, it is called Pantai Pasir. This tiny island is worth visiting because of its beautiful marine ecosystem. When snorkeling in this area, you can expect to find vibrant coral reefs and tropical fishes. This island is surrounded by crystal clear water which means that it is perfectly safe for you to swim because the current is not strong and the water is shallow. Aside from that, there is not much else to do on the island besides relaxing and having a picnic. If you get to this island with a bigger boat, they won’t be able to stop on the beach as the boat might damage the corals in the process.
