I spent an unexpected night in Richmond after missing a connection at YVR. I googled restaurants near my hotel for dinner and this is one that came up and had good reviews. Don't let the appearance fool you. It's in an old car wash and for some reason they haven't changed the sign, so it's kinda tricky to spot. It's run by an older Japanese couple (he's the chef). Aside from gyozas i didn't recognize the names of the dishes, i wonder if it's region specific Japanese food. From all accounts it's very authentic. The gyozas were perfect and my main dish (can't remember the name) was tasty... It was chicken in a sauce served in rice with a fried egg on top and some lettuce. #japanese #food
