A mainstay of the seafront of Villefranche-sur-Mer, the Hotel Welcome has a long history of welcoming great artists and intellectuals alongside jet-set French Riviera sun-seekers. Artist/filmmaker Jean Cocteau lived at the Hotel Welcome off and on during the 1920s and his influence on the hotel cannot be missed.
