Another interesting stop along the Malecon is Parque del Amor (Park of Love), arguably the most famous park along this coastal strip. The park was built to celebrate love in all of its forms, and was officially inaugurated on Valentines Day in 1993. If you weren't sure of the park's dedication before arrival, the giant statue of 2 lovers embracing well and truly represents the theme of the park.
