Hundertwasser House
I’d never even heard of artist and architect Friedensreich Hundertwasser before I went to Vienna but one glimpse of this wild, trippy residential apartment building was all it took to create a new die-hard fan. His work is brightly colored, has no use for straight lines and presents a strong focus on nature. It can veer into the hippie-dippy a bit but it’s absolutely fascinating. After visiting this delightful place, head over to the nearby Museum Hundertwasser for a more thorough delve into his oeuvre.
