Take a collectivo from Huaraz to Pitec for 10 Soles. They to take the first one leaving at 7am and tell the driver to drop you off at the starting point for the hiking trail. Laguna Churupita is at 4600 m and can be reached by a small trail on the left of Laguna Churup.
