Well , This is the Usual aerial view of Ungmot river , Dawki . Unlike those drone shots you won't find the aqua Flora and fauna in this click as I didn't have a drone. But everything ever said about this place is absolutely true. We started a bit late for Dawki , at about 8 am. Though we have one advantage. We were not staying in Shillong , we stayed in a village called Mylim , approximately 12 kms awat from Shillong towards cherrapunji and dawki. So the city traffic is one thing we didn't have to worry about . Enroute before reaching Dawki the views from our neighbouring country started coming into sight. Few people from both the countries were involved in illegal mining and the border forces were quiet silent about it to my surprise. Anyways we kept travelling to the drop point. At last the time came. We climbed down 28 steep steps to reach the river shore. The water was clear as sky , though unlike all the other rivers in Meghalaya , this river embraced us with hot spring water flows , that it inhabitates. After Bargaining a bit we started our boat ride. The general charges stays in between 700-1000 for four people in a boat. We were taken to the camp site at the other shore of the river , spent some time there. It was blissful. The wind blow was breathtaking enough and so is the view. We came back after an hour of exploring the shores . Then came up and looked down. This beauty caught my eye and hence clicked.?? #swimming #waterfalls #mountains #boating
