Located right to the side of Highway 1 is Pescadero State Beacc. This one-mile long, sandy beach features stunning rocky cliffs to hike along, great tide pools, and plenty of spots for fishing and picnicking. Across the highway, you can also visit Pescadero Marsh Natural Preserve, which is a refuge for all sorts of wildlife, including seabirds, deer and foxes. The rock arch at South Beach is always a beautiful sight, and can be walked through at low tides.
