Hermitage Amsterdam
The Hermitage is the local branch of its famous namesake in St. Petersburg and there is still a bit of Russian influence to be felt. Exhibitions change about every six months and you can catch everything from classical works to Dutch Golden Age painting to Outsider Art. This place can apparently get pretty crowded when there is a blockbuster exhibition going on but it wasn’t too crazy when we were there.
