One of the most beautiful experiences I had travelling in Eastern Europe was to travel through Transylvania by train. Specially in autumn, there are so many different colors that it looks unreal. There are plenty of trains from Bucarest to different towns in the region of Transylvania, and to get to Braşov for example you can catch the slow one that costs around 5 € or the fast one around 10 €.
