This was one of my most memorable experiences from Chiang Mai and one of the most special and beautiful days of my life. Elephant Jungle Sanctuary is a humane way to interact with elephants. You are picked up from your hostel and then taken on a long drive out of city into the bush. You feed the elephants in small groups and then have lunch yourself. Afterwards you have a literal mud fight with everyone and the elephants, before finally taking them to the river to wash them down. It's a rather surreal day to be that interactive with such beautiful creatures, and I highly recommend this for all ages. #elephants #jungle #sanctuary #humane #animals
