Hike to the top of Volcán Santa Ana, also known as Ilamatepec and get a beautiful view of Lago de Coatepeque, and the surrounding area, as well as the green crater lake. Entry is $6US and it may be necessary to pay a guide $1US and the hike will take around 45 minutes from the point of payment. If taking the local chicken bus you can take a longer 4 hour hike to the top.
