Located 20 miles north of Joshua Tree National Park's Cottonwood Visitor Center along the Pinto Basin Road and at the south end of Wilson Canyon. 1/4th mile loop trail through striking multi-colored "jumping" cacti; otherworldly spectacle, but do not go near the plants, as they will slice into your skin at the slightest touch. #extreme
