Lucy's experience in Manhattan

Freemans
While this is quite a stylish restaurant, Freemans is fairly hidden at the end of a long, graffiti filled alleyway in Lower Manhattan. The location provides visitors with the thrilling feeling that they're discovering something others haven't. The space is elaborately designed in a colonial tavern theme, with taxidermy mounted on the walls alongside old fashioned illustrations, and lots of wood furniture placed throughout the surprising large venue. It's incredibly warm and charming, especially on a cold winters day. The menu is classic American food, with lots of yummy cocktail selections - the artichoke dip with toast was a cheesy delight. #restaurants #americanfood #tavern #charming #nycfood #hiddengemrestaurant #cocktails
