Together with Quart Towers, Serranos Towers were part of the old town. They were used both as a defensive feature of the city and also a triumphal arch. Nowadays, the most outstanding event that takes place at the feet of the Tower is the Crida, the last Sunday in February, when the Fallera Mayor of Valencia welcomes all Valencians and visitors to the Fallas celebrations in March. #history #music #traditions
