One of the restaurants right on Plaza del Castillo is La Tasca de Don José with covered plaza seating, a generous first floor indoor dining space and a quieter  upstairs area where I had dinner. The upstairs has beautiful exposed brick and large windows to enjoy a view of the plaza down below. I will suggest the duck in port sauce and citrus fruits with a good glass of white wine.
