[CLOSED] The Jewish Museum of Greece
My guide book describes this museum as small but it sure didn’t feel that way. This intriguing museum is home to a wonderful and wide-ranging collection of religious objects, holiday items, military memorabilia and much more, ranging from the mundane to the spectacular. Well organized displays contain informative descriptions that don’t leave you overwhelmed. Most memorable for me were the painted wooden cases created to hold Torah scrolls and the personal possessions of Greek Jews (87% of the population was murdered) lost during the Holocaust. Never forget..
