Yuhu Lake is comprised of snow melt from the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain and was made by the Naxi chieftain Mu during the Ming Dynasty. A beautiful park to walk around the lake reflects the gorgeous mountain range behind it. There’s a lot of Naxi history here too and it’s where the famed botanist and anthropologist Rock Joseph lived.
