This traditional village is located in the Kodi district in southwest Sumba. The houses in this village are the tallest in the island. They have four levels, the first one is where livestock such as chicken, pigs ... are kept, the second one is where mundane activity is held, the third one is where they store the harvest and in the forth level is where they store sacred object as it is the level for the Marapu, the religion they believe in #sumba #traditionalhouses #architecture #photography #history
