This is a former temple turned into a museum to house Buddhist relics. Originally it was built in the 16th century to house Emerald Buddha, where it stayed for more than 200 years. In the 18th century, Emerald Buddha was taken to Bangkok. #vientiane #laos #thingstodo #museum
