Chicken Star is so popular that I heard about it before I moved to Bishkek. Korean-owned and home to loads of events, art exhibits, tango classes, and live music nights every Friday. The menu (in English and Russian) centers around Korean food - yes, chicken - but includes fries as well. My favorites are the bibimba, spicy Korean chicken, garlic chicken and rice, and kimchi plov.
