Coney Art Walls
Coney Island is one of New York City’s main summertime attractions but it’s not all about dizzying rides, getting sick on cotton candy and hot dogs and hanging out on the boardwalk. It’s more recently become a magnet for fans of Brooklyn’s magnificently creative, ever-evolving street art scene. These murals are free to visit (one of the few attractions here that won’t cost an arm and a leg) and feature the talents of both local and international masters of the spray paint medium. They are big, splashy, colorful and loud, just like Coney Island itself.
