Tewkesbury
Too-cute, minuscule Tewkesbury is a highlight of any English Cotswolds tour. Tewkesbury Abbey is famous for its Norman architecture and is a former Benedictine monastery. This town is also home to one of the oldest public houses in the country, The Black Bear, although I’ve noticed that recent reviews of this place have been far from glowing. Check out the John Moore Countryside Museum and the area’s fetchingly Tudor homes.
