If you think you need to go outside of the city to see a Dutch windmill, you are wrong. The De Gooyer windmill is located in the East Docklands, 10 minutes by bike from the Central Station. Moreover, right next to it you can enjoy group beer tastings at the Brouwerij't IJ, in the former bath house.
