Visit a museum. It may not necessary be true that many museums in the country are closed during the year-end festive season. Hara Museum in Tokyo and the Open-Air Museum plus the Glass Museum in Hakone remained open during our visit in the cold season. Hara Museum is a living quarter converted into a public museum by the international art collector, Toshio Hara. The Open-Air Museum houses contemporary art with famous names such as Picasso. The Glass Museum is especially charming and a good way to delve into shelter away from the cold!  Note: It is still advisable to check the opening schedule of the museum prior visit. #japan #winter #art #hakone
