The heart of Balaton statue is located on Zamárdi's long free beach area. It was raised on the occasion of Zamárdi becoming a city in 2008, and was completed in 2012 by István Fáskerti. If visited in clear weather, the Tihany Abbey on the north shore can be seen through the heart shape.
