Located 15 km from Split, Klis Fortress is a fascinating sight to explore on a day trip. Game of Thrones fans will enjoy it even more as it has been used as it portrays Meereen in the 4th season. We took a bus to get the location and spent several hours wondering around the Fortress and enjoyed panoramic views from it.
