Koh Tao, Thailand was by far my favorite Island in Thailand because of the outdoor activities and the freedom to explore. We rented scooters and drove around the entire island. If you’re nervous about renting a scooter in the bigger cities this is definitely the place to do it because there is less traffic and more open roads. We got to rock climb, beach hop, snorkel, and eat dinner next to the ocean while the sun was setting.
