Friends of Creamers Field at Creamer's Field Migratory Waterfowl Refuge
Creamers field trails are located right in Fairbanks and are a summer stop for the cranes, ducks and other wildlife that visit during the summer. Bring your camera as the cranes are pretty cool to see in person. Hundreds of them line the fields in the summer. The trail itself leads behind the field and had nice little bridges, ponds and nature signs along the way which talk about the area. There is a cool lookout at about midpoint along the trail which is a bit wobbly when climbing up but has quite the view from the top. A relatively easy trail that can be flooded in early summer or with a lot of rain, check conditions before heading out. This trail is easy enough to bring strollers and dogs. #trail #birds #easyhikes
