De Hel Nature Area
De Hel Nature Reserve is one of Cape Town's best-kept secrets. Nestled on the outskirts of Table Mountain near Constantia Nek, the nature reserve covers 21 hectares densely populates by indigenous trees. The park has a semi-circular route of about 4 km with very little slope, so it is ideal for runners, not to mention it is pet-friendly. You will find a few fountains in the park with fresh drinking water. While taking a break, don't forget to look out for the park's flora and fauna including 250 plant species, 75 bird species, reptiles, and amphibians.
