Sri Pada or Adam's Peak is a mountain that is considered to be sacred by Hindus, Buddhists, Muslims and Christians. Most visitors leave at 1 or 2 am to reach the summit by sunrise. It is cold at the top so carry warm clothes. The temple on top has a footprint (pada means foot in Sanskrit) considered to be that of the leader of each of these for religions.
