The Monon Trail runs from Indianapolis to north of Carmel. (Honestly I'm not sure where it ends!) The stretch of trail from Main Street in Carmel north is especially beautiful in all seasons because of the "tunnel" the trees create. Spring, summer, fall, winter all have their special beauty. You'll see all ages walking, bicycles are also welcome. There are also dog bags available to pick up after your dog.
