Cheomseongdae
This is the oldest astronomical observatory in Eastern Asia and one of the oldest scientific facility of Earth. It has been constructed around 632-647 AD. The scientists used to watch the stars there in order to forecast the weather.
It's around 9 meters high.
Cheomseongdae litterally means in Korean "the tower from which one can watch the stars".
The 362 stones used to build it represent the 362 days in the lunar calendar.
Free entrance (who can not actually go inside the tower but just see it from outside)
