Cantacuzino Palace
The Cantacuzino Palace was the residence of a Romanian politician and lawyer who lived in Bucharest in the late 19th century. Built-in 1903, the palace impresses with an enormous Art Nouveau canopy that covers the main entrance. It also features eclectic architectural elements with influences from the French baroque style. The interior of the palace has sumptuous and elegant rooms which were refurbished to house a museum dedicated to the most famous Romanian musician - George Enescu. The museum features an impressive concert hall with a cupola where music events take place each week. In the backyard of the palace, one can find the memorial house where the great composer Enescu actually lived. #romania #bucharest #museum
