I decided to take it easy with our first attempt in hiking by going for a nature walk. We saw bats hanging from centuries' old trees, spotted a marsupial and saw a lone eucalyptus tree in the midst of this rainforest reserve. Apparently, this area used to be drier and when the climate turned wet, the plant life changed as well. There is a playground next to the nature park with an open space for picnic.
