The Cascada el Chiflon is one of the most famous of the southeast region of Chiapas. It includes five different waterfall of different height and levels. The last one is called Vélo de Novia and is about 200m high. Be ready for a good hike in the jungle, mostly because it is very hot and humid. The trails that follow both sides of the river are clear and have stairs to help you go up. There are tours from San Cristóbal that are worth it to save the complications of the transportation.
