Nice monument honouring Canadian soldiers who fought in Flanders. You are out in the countryside in a small town where the monument is and it really gives you a sense of the terrain the soldiers were dealing with. Looking at photos all the beautiful fields were turned to mud. Good place to come and remember those brave souls. #statue
