View from Montalcino
The world-wide famous Brunello di Montalcino is one of the two oldest red wines in Italy. It is produced in the area around the homonym village, of course, from pure Sangiovese vines. Some advices to taste it: rare-cooked steak with some slices of black truffle, or local sheep cheese platter.
