An hour away from Taipingshan Mountain is Cueifong Lake. Depending on the season, the size of the lake changes. Cueifong Lake is Taiwan's largest alpine lake, with the trees towering in the backdrop. As waves of clouds sail above the lake, the entire lake is momentarily covered with mist. The clouds then eventually sail away, once again revealing Cueifong Lake.
